Bio

Since a young age, Vanshika has been passionate and curious about nature and climate change. She is an international student from New Delhi, India who completed her Bachelor's degree in Community, Environment & Development (CED) from Pennsylvania State University, University Park campus (We Are!) with a specialization in Corporate Sustainability. Her initial major was Meteorology & Atmospheric Sciences as she wanted to work around climate change. However, she soon discovered her purpose in the intersection of people/society and sustainable systemic actions, which led her to her unique major.

During college, she was captivated by the transformative power of business, particularly of food companies. This fascination ultimately led her to pursue a focus on food and sustainability, which brought her to the IAD program. Her overarching career goal is to leverage the power of business to make our food systems sustainable in every way and for every stakeholder involved.

Aside from her academics and career pursuits, she is a huge movie lover, and enjoys cooking, long walks, and the stress-busting of cleaning and organizing! In all aspects of her life, she draws inspiration from the beauty and power of nature.
